My Local Authority Client in the Buckinghamshire is looking to source experienced planning officers across the council, offering up to 5 positions.
The Role:
Working Environment
Hybrid working; initial office-based induction period.
Site visits required across a mixture of locations - Driving preferred (Business Insurance needed).
Key points:
Managing a significant backlog of applications.
High-volume, repetitive casework requiring efficient turnaround.
Need for officers who can quickly integrate and work independently.
Strong understanding of planning regulations, local plans, TCPA, and best practice.
Ability to manage workload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
Experience with Uniform and Idox systems desired.
Local Authority experience desired.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
