What hours will you be working?

We are looking for someone who is the front of the guest experience, to ensure an efficient and effective operation within our boutique hotel after hours - usually between the hours of 11pm or midnight and 7 - 8am.

Hours may vary but will likely be 24-32 hours/3-5 nights per week (nights only).

What you'll be doing as aNight Porter?

Your Role

Are you looking for a customer service role? Do you have a bubbly personality, have excellent standards and enjoy working with people? We may have the perfect role for you. We are now looking to recruit a NIGHT Porter to enhance our strong team, and help us to deliver guest satisfaction, and ensure 'excellence is a habit'.

Responsibilities will include carrying out or supporting in;

  • Operating the front desk computer systems.
  • Completing administration and audits.
  • Meeting and greeting guests and ensuring their security and the security of the site as a whole.
  • Various ad hoc duties in our bar and conference areas, which includes cleaning and preparation for the following day and setting up the bar and restaurant for service.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent timekeeping, attendance and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to respond to customers appropriately and respond to their needs in a timely manner.
  • You should also have experience in a similar role, and a real ability to plan and organise your workload.

You will be

Socially confident with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be reliable and flexible, and the kind of person who ensures service is never compromised. With high standards and an attention to detail, you will have a positive, can do attitude, and be able to work under pressure.

The Coach and Four, was once a historic coach house, and has been transformed into a fantastic pub restaurant in the area of Wilmslow and is one of our flagship sites. The Coach and Four not only provides the best fresh food and drink in a relaxing environment for all manner of occasions, but also offers 36 spacious, high quality rooms within its adjacent lodge.
