What You'll Be Doing:
- Championing Health, Safety & Environmental standards across all quarry operations.
- Leading and motivating a team of qualified individuals to deliver high-quality aggregate production.
- Coordinating with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
- Supervising daily quarry activities to optimise labour, plant, and material resources.
- Committing to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) through training and seminars.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring full compliance with company policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Upholding the Heidelberg Materials Compliance Policy and preventing fraudulent activity.
- Driving health & safety performance and maintaining legal compliance.
- Staying up to date with industry knowledge and attending relevant training.
- Following all HR policies and procedures.
What You'll Need:
- GCSE Grade 4+ in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in quarry or heavy industry operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude towards safety and team development.
