We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced kitchen professionals for a future kitchen leadership opportunity in the heat of Piccadilly, London

This role is suited to a candidate who is equally passionate about hands-on cooking and leading a kitchen brigade. It is a genuine 50/50 split between delivering food at a high standard and taking full responsibility for day-to-day kitchen leadership, organisation, and team management.

Our food operation includes daytime service, hospitality, and events, and we are looking to connect with individuals who can combine strong culinary ability with confident people leadership.


About the opportunity

This is a role for someone who wants to remain fully involved in service and food production while also taking ownership of the wider kitchen operation.

You will be expected to:

  • Be hands-on in the kitchen, leading by example through service and preparation

  • Produce high-quality food consistently across caf , hospitality, and event activity

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the kitchen brigade

  • Organise prep, service flow, section standards, and team coordination

  • Supervise, coach, and develop junior chefs and kitchen support staff

  • Maintain strong standards in hygiene, food safety, allergens, and kitchen discipline

  • Support stock control, ordering, waste management, and operational efficiency

  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure a smooth, high-quality guest experience


What this role really is

This is not a purely administrative kitchen management role, and it is not a role focused only on cooking your own section.

It is a balanced kitchen leadership role for someone who is:

  • a strong cook,

  • confident running service,

  • comfortable managing a brigade,

  • and able to take ownership of both food quality and kitchen standards.
