Kier Transportation is seeking a Site Manager to be based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire, delivering a diverse range of projects from critical maintenance to major civil engineering schemes for both North and West Northamptonshire Councils.

Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire – site based, 5 days per week Hours: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week Salary: £48,000 – £52,000 + £5,900 annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
What Will You Be&nbsp;Responsible For?
As a Site Manager, you'll take ownership of a variety of works, including footpath reconstruction, carriageway resurfacing, surface treatments, drainage improvements, traffic signals, and structure repairs. Managing these projects on live public highways requires skill, foresight, and strong leadership.
Your day-to-day will include:
<ul>
<li>Creating and championing a positive health and safety culture in line with Kier procedures</li>
<li>Ensure your sites are compliant with Chapter 8 and the Construction (Design and Management) regulations</li>
<li>Interpret documents, scheme drawings and costing information in line with NEC4 contract requirements</li>
<li>Ensuring the quality of work aligns with inspection and testing plans, scheme designs, and current specifications</li>
<li>Compliance&nbsp;with the NEC4 change control procedures for early warnings and compensation events</li>
</ul>

<li>HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering</li>
<li>Proven NEC contract&nbsp;management experience</li>
<li>NRSWA&nbsp;Supervisor certification</li>
<li>12D Traffic&nbsp;Management and SMSTS qualifications</li>
<li>A full UK driving licence (essential for this site-based role)</li>

Site Manager

Job Title: Principal Product Safety Engineer
Location: Coventry. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:

Leading the derivation and manage Product Safety requirements derived from Product Safety hazard and risk identification
</li>
<li>
Working in accordance with Project Safety Management Plans
</li>
<li>
Influencing the development of a safe design, the Project Safety Case including logical technical safety arguments and Safety Case justification reports
</li>
<li>
Supporting hazard identification meetings and the maintenance of the project hazard log
</li>
<li>
Completing peer reviews, checking, verification and assurance tasks to demonstrate the adequacy and robustness of the Safety Case and supporting documentation

Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

Understanding of engineering safety management processes, such as hazard analysis, logical safety arguments and safety case report

Reasonable understanding of safety within systems engineering – including establishment of good engineering requirements and how they will be delivered through engineering processes

Understanding of Safety Engineering principles and application of processes

To support our ongoing need to recruit the best engineering talent, BAE Systems Submarines is delighted to shortly be opening a brand-new office in Coventry. BAE Systems Submarines is experiencing a period of significant growth, and we are now actively recruiting a variety of roles and specialisms to support our ongoing submarines programs which is critical to delivering our national endeavour.
As a Principal Engineer you will provide support to the Engineering Delivery Manager in the development, delivery and maintenance of the Project Product Safety Management System and Product Safety Case to ensure Products are safe to own and legal to operate.
You will join a growing team of about 50 engineers and will work collaboratively since the early stage of a major development programme. This will provide you with the opportunity to influence the progress of different projects within the SSNA Combat System programme and to develop your career within BAE Systems. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
