Job Title:Principal Power Systems Electrical Engineer
Location:Barrow-In-Furness &amp; Filton / Hybrid (2 days a fortnight onsite at Barrow; 1 day a week onsite at Filton) depending on business needs

Salary:Up to £55,000 (Commensurate with skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
<ul>
<li>Conducting load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of an electrical power system</li>
<li>Management and analysis of the electrical load budget</li>
<li>Developing and validating electrical models </li>
<li>Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the power system</li>
<li>Preparing technical reports, calculations, and presentations communicating results and advising recommendations</li>
<li>Developing and mentoring other team members </li>
</ul>
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
<ul>
<li>Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical engineering</li>
<li>Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership</li>
<li>Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions</li>
<li>Extensive experience in Power Systems Modelling</li>
<li>Experience conducting electrical load budget and load flow analysis</li>
<li>An understanding in power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB)</li>
<li>Stakeholder management experience</li>
</ul>

The Electrical Verification Team:
As part of the Electrical Verification Team, you will be involved in the verification and validation of the power system, conducting analysis, and performing calculations to support the maturity and design of the electrical platform. Job Title: Principal Product Safety Engineer

What you’ll be doing:

<li>Providing advice on product safety matters to project and engineering managers delivering the programmes and ensuring the safety considerations (DEF STAN 0055/0056) are correctly considered and implemented</li>
<li>Engaging with third parties, to review and gather supporting safety case evidence</li>
<li>Developing safety arguments, both physical and functional, using appropriate safety analysis methods e.g. (FHA/STPA/FMEA/FTA) producing and updating safety case and safety management documentation using appropriate regulations and standards</li>

Job Title: Pipefitter
Location: Glasgow – Govan and Scotstoun – Based on site and must be able to attend a recruitment day in Glasgow
Salary: £38,662.00 (additional shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)

What you’ll be doing: 
<ul>
<li>Fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials (copper, cuni, carbon steel and stainless steel)</li>
<li>Using a range of hand tools &amp; mechanical equipment to cut, bend and weld pipes as well as installation of pipework.</li>
<li>Installing utilities aboard ship i.e. sinks, showers, and toilets</li>
<li>Install and assemble fittings, valves, and related components according to drawings and specifications.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other trades to ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects.</li>
<li>Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures at all times</li>

Your skills and experiences:
Essential :

<li>Modern Apprenticeship certificate/Trade Papers (you will be required to provide these papers) and relevant qualifications (e.g., SVQ3, City &amp; Guilds, or equivalent)</li>
<li>Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture, installation, and use of associated equipment</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and safety standards</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications</li>

<li>Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar within an industrial or commercial environment</li>
