The purpose of the job is to deliver new packaging design and development projects, from concept through to implementation in our EM network and beyond. We are seeking a Site Agent to join our Transportation team in Union Street, London. In this role, you will be responsible for specifying, scheduling, and managing onsite engineering resources (both personnel and physical assets) to ensure schemes are delivered in full compliance with design specifications. You will lead the safe and timely implementation of plans to the required quality standards, while maximising customer satisfaction and optimising project profitability. What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be part of our Commercial team, supporting the delivery of highway maintenance work. This includes everything from incident response and winter services to planned and preventative maintenance, and managing a client budget of around £20 million per year.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

<li>Managing subcontractor tasks – procurement, payments, change control, task orders, and work-in-progress</li>
<li>Pricing work and agreeing costs with the client, attending meetings as needed</li>
<li>Preparing monthly reports including CVRs, revenue claims, and debt/WiP management</li>
<li>Contributing to commercial forecasting based on the client's annual budgets</li>
<li>Providing support and guidance to junior members of the team</li>
