We're looking for an Electrical Manager to join our Housing Maintenance and Corporate Servies Teams in Gosport, Hampshire.
Location: Gosport, Hampshire.
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Flexible and remote working options available.
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
What will you be responsible for?
Within this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the Electrical service across Housing Maintenance and Corporate Services within the Gosport area.&nbsp;As part of a busy team, you will manage and supervise the team of Technicians to ensure they deliver the service in accordance with Company Policy and provide day to day management and supervision and support.
Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
<ul>
<li>Provide direct management, day to day support and supervision of the Technicians and other staff, ensuring Company policy and external regulations are adhered to,</li>
<li>Carry out Quality Control's in accordance with NICEIC requirements and Kier's policy,</li>
<li>Work in partnership with the Contact Centre Team, to help record the flow of work through the scheduling system and anticipate levels of demand, or alterations,</li>
<li>Participate in regular site visits to carry out site inspections and sign off contractors' work and liaise with the Performance Manager on quality and complaints as appropriate,</li>
<li>Investigate complaints as appropriate in liaison with the Performance Manager, check property history records and prepare detailed reports for management as required,</li>
<li>Ensure that all relevant tenancy, property risk and any corporate building information is conveyed to Technicians and contractors prior to their attendance, to safeguard both them and the service user.</li>
</ul>

This role of Electrical Manager is great for you if you have:

<li>Proven experience within a similar role at Supervisor or Management level,</li>
<li>A Level 3 NVQ qualification (or equivalent) in Electrotechnical Services,</li>
<li>A Level 3 qualification in Periodic Inspection, testing &amp; certification,</li>
<li>Ability to read Construction Drawings,</li>
<li>Experience of reporting and managing budgets effectively.</li>

Electrical Manager

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Places – Building Solutions South team based in Basingstoke/ Southampton.
Location: Working in and around the South based in either Basingstoke or Southampton.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
<h3>What will you be responsible for?</h3>
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Kier Places – Building Solutions South team, supporting them in delivering high-quality refurbishment and re-cladding projects across the region.
Your day to day will include:

<li>Assessing, reviewing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks</li>

What you’ll be doing:
<ul>
<li>Contributing to the overall design and development of advanced radar systems, supporting the growth of new products from concept through to delivery</li>
<li>Leading the definition and integration of hardware and digital subsystem interfaces, including high-speed data, control, and calibration signals</li>
<li>Developing hardware specifications and architectures for digital components, including both bespoke and off-the-shelf solutions</li>
<li>Translating signal processing concepts into real-world solutions through modelling, simulation, and requirement definition</li>
<li>Defining and coordinating system timing strategies to enable efficient scheduling and real-time performance across subsystems</li>
<li>Supporting system-level testing, calibration, and design assurance activities to ensure product performance and reliability</li>

Your skills and experiences: 
<ul>
<li>Strong background in Electronics Engineering, with a focus on digital high-speed and complex design</li>
<li>Experience in data analysis using tools such as MATLAB or Excel</li>
<li>Degree in electronics engineering, physics preferred but could have any STEM degree, or experience equivalent</li>
<li>Understanding of system integration and design assurance processes with a solid grasp of all hardware disciplines, with multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge</li>
<li>Previous experience working with radar systems, particularly AESAs (Active Electronically Scanned Arrays)</li>
