Our Role 
We are looking for experienced Overhead Line Chargehands to join our teams working on our UKPN contract. The Chargehand Linesperson will be the responsible party for leading teams of 2- or 3-person teams in the erection of poles, changing transformers and carry out any other overhead line work that may be required. 
We have secured a 5 year contract with UK Power Networks, providing support across their ED2 Distribution Network Programme. We will be providing services across all distribution assets, including overhead lines, underground cabling and substations on LV, 11kV, and 33kV networks. From the 1st April 2023, our teams will be working across the southwest Chilterns, Borehamwood and the Bedford/Cambridge area. 
 <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> We are looking for someone to:

<li>Carrying out all work in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of UK Power Networks.</li>
<li>Install, build and refurbish overhead lines up to 33kV.</li>
<li>Conform to all instructions stated in method statements and risk assessments.</li>

<h3>Description</h3> As a Service Delivery Supervisor, you will manage the LDP Operational Teams in the successful delivery of the Cadent Mains Replacement Programme in the North West. The Radiation Physics &amp; Shielding team:
Our team is responsible for the design and validation of radiation shielding for the UK’s nuclear powered submarine fleet. We are engaged across three different submarine programmes in different stages of the engineering lifecycle designing new shields, providing design change assessment into the build programme, and conducting radiation metrology on-board during commissioning. Alongside our primary work we conduct radiological safety studies for several other areas, design novel radiation detectors and are developing capability in the field of radiation damage to electronics.
