JOB DESCRIPTION We are searching for a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our maintenance team for a contract in Immingham. Our company specializes in providing maintenance and shutdown services to the oil, gas, and industrial sectors, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. As a Pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in our maintenance team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and associated equipment. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient functioning of piping networks. RESPONSIBILITIES Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems, including but not limited to valves, fittings, and related equipment. Interpret and work from isometric drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute pipefitting tasks accurately. Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using various tools and techniques while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Conduct inspections and tests on piping systems to identify and resolve issues such as leaks, blockages, or faulty components. Collaborate closely with other team members, including supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople, to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks. Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols, promoting a culture of safety compliance within the team. Document all pipefitting activities, including work performed, materials used, and any pertinent information. Qualifications for Internal Candidates QUALIFICATIONS Requirements NVQ level 3 or apprenticeship essential CCNSG essential TMJI10 or MJI10 preferred Proven experience as a Pipefitter in industrial environments, preferably within the oil, gas, or related sectors. Comprehensive knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shutdown environment. Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing project requirements. Valid certifications/licenses required by UK regulations for onshore shutdown projects.  Key aims and objectives

 <li>Read, understand and implement all applicable Project / Company requirements, standards and procedures and ensure that all rigging / lifting activities are completed in compliance with the applicable National Regulations and Standards and to a high standard of safety</li>
 <li>Perform rigging / lifting duties as requested by the Project / Company, ensuring that all lifting equipment and accessories are utilised in accordance with the manufacturer's operating instructions and/or recommendations</li>

 <li>Understanding of and development of lifting plans to enable the execution of rigging / lifting duties</li>
 <li>Provide support to other trades / disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team</li>
 <li>Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments to ensure rigging / lifting activities are completed in a safe and controlled manner</li>
 <li>Raise awareness of conflicting activities or unforeseen difficulties which could affect rigging / lifting operations</li>
 <li>Raising applicable Permit to Works in order to complete work scope in a controlled and safe manner</li>
 <li>Select appropriate lifting accessories and ensure they are attached / detached between the load and lifting equipment in a correct and safe manner</li>
 <li>Use clear and unambiguous hand / radio signals to safely direct the actions of a crane manoeuvring loads of various weights and dimensions</li>
 <li>Carry out routine checks on lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with the prescribed maintenance procedure and ensure they are in a serviceable condition before and after use</li>
 <li>Demonstrable experience in rigging &amp; lifting operations on plant shutdowns</li>
 <li>Ability to communicate effectively and work with other team members and disciplines</li>
 <li>Demonstrate commitment to safety</li>
 <li>Flexible and able to comply with company and client requirements</li>
