The Role 
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) division, you’ll bring your expert knowledge and problem-solving skills directly to our members – wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the limitations of a traditional garage.
 
We’ll set you up for success from day one with: 
•	Your own fully equipped RAC van and fuel card 
•	Full uniform and PPE 
•	All the essential tools and diagnostic equipment you need

What We’re Looking For
 
•	Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) 
•	At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician on light vehicles 
•	A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

What will you be responsible for?
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll support the commercial management of projects that may range from £10M - £100+ . Working under the guidance of a Senior&nbsp;Quantity Surveyor, you'll help manage costs, assess financial viability, and ensure value for money while maintaining compliance with legal and contractual standards.
Your day to day may include:
<ul>
<li>Assisting in the financial assessment and reporting of projects</li>
<li>Supporting procurement activities and evaluating subcontractor returns</li>
<li>Managing applications for payment and conducting on-site measurements</li>
<li>Producing commercial reports and maintaining accurate project documentation</li>
<li>Collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives</li>
</ul>
What are we looking for?
This role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor&nbsp; is great for you if:

<li>Degree in Quantity Surveying</li>
<li>Some level of post-graduation experience in a main contracting environment</li>
<li>Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and confidence in stakeholder engagement</li>
<li>Full UK Driving Licence</li>
