Our client, a respected non‑profit organisation, is currently looking for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join their team on an initial 6‑month contract. This is an opportunity to contribute to the effective management and improvement of a diverse property portfolio comprising domestic and commercial properties.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, delivering, and monitoring building works, repairs, maintenance, and capital projects, as well as ensuring the organisation meets all compliance, statutory, and legislative requirements relating to its estate.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
➢ Delivering Professional Building Management, providing high‑quality building management services and ensuring all work is delivered efficiently, economically, and within agreed budgets.➢ Planning, specifying, procuring and monitoring works.➢ Overseeing a range of maintenance, repair, and capital investment projects.➢ Working closely with colleagues contributing specialist expertise to ensure the estate is safe, compliant and fit for purpose.
What you'll need to succeedIf you are a chartered surveyor (MRICS) with proven experience managing building works across domestic and commercial environments and a strong knowledge of statutory compliance, building regulations, and public procurement processes, then this could be for you.
