We're looking for a Road Lighting Design Engineer to join our Design team based Nationwide.
Location: Nationwide - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
Salary: Starting from £36,000 per annum

What will you be responsible for?
As a Road Lighting Design Engineer, you'll be working within the Design team, supporting them in delivering high-quality road lighting and electrical design solutions. Your day to day will include:
- Delivering road lighting and electrical design tasks to agreed time, cost and quality standards
- Preparing design calculations, drawings and reports using tools such as AutoCAD, Dialux, Lighting Reality and CableCalc
- Developing safe, buildable and compliant design solutions in collaboration with project teams
- Applying health & safety, quality and environmental requirements throughout the design process
- Supporting junior team members and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
What are we looking for?
This role of Road Lighting Design Engineer is great for you if:
- You hold an HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- You're IEng qualified or working towards professional registration with the IET or ILP
- You hold the ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma or equivalent road lighting expertise
- You have experience in road lighting and electrical design within the highways sector
- You hold a full driving licence
