Job Description:

Technical Manager is accountable for wholistic factory assets management to ensure all machine & equipment are in good condition & reliability to serve business priorities & purposes.

This role is also managingtechnicalteam’s associates to haveappropriate knowledge, skills & capability to effectively perform all asset management activities together with strong awareness & mindset adhere to all Safety and Quality policies in the factory with solid succession pipeline for future.

What are we looking for?

  • You will have in depth experience in Technical or Production area within FMCG.

  • You willdemonstrateexcellencein people leadership and project management, preferable in an engineering/supply environment

  • You will have strong line management experience andtrack recordof performance and people development.

  • You will have experience/knowledge of broader supply functions like Q&FS, IE, HSE, Manufacturing

  • You will have budget management experience of >£1m

  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) type experience with emphasis on PM (Progress Maintenance) and EM (Early Management) pillar leadership

  • You will be fluent in English, both written and verbal.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Provide strategic and technical leadership to the Maintenance and Engineering teams.

  • Provide innovative solutions resulting in sustained technical competitive advantage.

  • The development and delivery of multi-year maintenance and engineering strategy to execute deliver critical KPI’s for Supply Chain/Operations.

  • Leading andfacilitatingthe Progressive Maintenance Pillar.

  • Management of all utilities, maintenance, & engineering at site

  • Technical asset management from early equipment management, project management (i.e.design, installation, vertical start-up), optimization,maintenanceand retirement.

  • The delivery of new product initiatives at the site to meet business needs.

  • Ensure compliance with Mars standards related to technical job function of site

  • Manage Maintenance costs to ensure the budgeting process isaccurateand the department meets the business requirements.

  • Deliver sites engineering projects to scope, timing, and costs.

  • Develop and sustain maintenance predictive technology strategies to provide a proactive maintenance culture.

  • Maintenance and Engineering team engagement and associate development.
