What's the role?
It is imperative for safe operations at Gatwick Airport that the engineering infrastructure is optimally designed, constructed, operated and maintained.
The Principal Integration Engineer will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of Gatwick's Engineering Asset Replacement Plan. <li>Experience of providing information required to implement large scale operational maintenance regimes and delivering continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of current specific Statutory Regulations, British Standards, emerging technologies/processes, and industry best practice.</li>
<li>Experience in managing stakeholder aspirations and balancing technical requirements and financial constraints.</li>
<li>Experience operating as the ‘Responsible Engineer' for specific policy and standard approvals, concessions and process controls.</li>
<li>Proven experience of operating in a multi disciplined environment balancing technical, commercial, and operational needs.</li>
<li>Adept at communicating at all levels and across different teams and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Proficient understanding of Health, Safety &amp; Environmental considerations associated with construction and operational environments, including CDM.</li>

Job Description Summary The Electronic Hardware Engineer is the engineering design authority for assigned aviation products. This leadership development role is within the sustaining engineering team and has technical responsibility for aerospace electronics and primary and secondary power distribution products as they are introduced into production and throughout their lifecycle.
