What you’ll be doing:

<li>Respond to service calls efficiently, conducting risk assessments before work.</li>
<li>Perform maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis on a variety of Carrier and third-party chillers, including air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, scroll, centrifugal, and reciprocating systems.</li>
<li>Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults, troubleshoot complex technical issues both on-site and remotely, and interpret wiring diagrams, P&amp;ID drawings, and pressure enthalpy diagrams.</li>
<li>Commission standard and large-capacity chillers, ensuring system-wide installation compliance and providing technical advice to customers.</li>
<li>Work closely with customers, attend meetings, and offer expert technical guidance with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Oversee technicians on large sites, support junior engineers and apprentices, and assist Carrier’s Training Manager in delivering technical courses.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to F-Gas regulations and health &amp; safety standards, and provide clear service reports via our digital platform.</li>
<li>Act as an SME in areas such as centrifugal compressor rebuilds, absorption chillers, and chiller sequencing controls.</li>
</ul>What we are looking for<ul>
<li>City &amp; Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning</li>
<li>F-Gas Qualified (Category 1)</li>
<li>HNC / ONC in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (preferred)</li>
<li>Experience with Carrier and other manufacturers’ Chillers and equipment.</li>
<li>Ability to work on commercial and industrial HVAC systems, troubleshooting complex breakdowns.</li>
<li>Full UK Driving Licence (or equivalent).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of refrigeration circuits, thermodynamics, and control systems.</li>
<li>Experience working in a Technician or Engineer role in the HVAC industry.</li>
