Job title: Senior Costbase Accountant
Location: Barrow-in-Furness / Sheffield – Hybrid working with 2/3 days in the office and if Sheffield based once a month in Barrow minimum
Salary: £50,000+ (Depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
<ul>

Lead on actualisation, forecasting, and budgeting of the cost base for QBR and IBP processes
</li>
<li>
Deliver comprehensive Fixed Asset reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance
</li>
<li>
Partner with Budget Holders to provide timely and insightful reporting, including P&amp;L, variance analysis, and identification of risks and opportunities
</li>
<li>
Prepare detailed cost base cash forecasts to support strategic planning
</li>
<li>
Own the calculation of critical rates including costing rates, throughput, and utilisation
</li>
<li>
Accurately input forecast and budget data into the SAP ERP system
</li>
<li>
Support the wider team through ad-hoc analysis and cross-cover, meeting both internal and external customer needs
</li>
</ul>
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
<ul>
<li>
Fully qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA essential – AAT not accepted)
</li>
<li>
Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIF, filters, and data manipulation
</li>
<li>
Proven experience in management accounts, with a strong focus on costing and pricing rate calculations
</li>
<li>
Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to challenge, influence, and build effective working relationships across all levels
</li>
</ul>
Desirable:

Highly desirable to have SAP experience

Costbase Senior Accountant

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Portsmouth Naval Base. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £42,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
<ul type="disc">
<li>Production of Installation Design Solutions for the introduction of new equipment into Maritime Platforms. These solutions consist of Electrical/System Drawings, Cable Route Drawings, Cable Data Sheets, Bill of Materials and associated Installation Instructions.</li>
<li>Liaison with MoD Customer and Industry Partners throughout the Design process developing agreed Equipment Integration Requirements.</li>
<li>Undertake Ship Surveys in support of Design Integration, Equipment Material State Reports, Equipment Configuration Control and Ship Power and Load Chart Management.</li>
<li>Configuring and Maintaining Ship Databases for Electrical Power Distribution and Blown Fibre Networks.</li>
<li>Production of Ship/Equipment Feasibility Studies.</li>
<li>Collaborate with in-house Mechanical, Structural, HVAC and Project Management Teams.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Industry Partners and Technical Authorities.</li>
<li>Support Ship-build and Submarine electrical detailed design activities.</li>
<li>Provide a technical input to the Product Safety of Design Services deliverables</li>
</ul>
Your skills and experiences:
