Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Rochester, Kent. 
Salary: Circa £40,000 dependent on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
<ul>
<li>Driving the implementation and improvement of technology-based initiatives across the manufacturing facility by researching new and emerging technologies, carrying out feasibility studies, cost analyses, and capital expenditure proposals for new equipment</li>
<li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy smart manufacturing solutions</li>
<li>Driving automation and connectivity projects to improve system-to-system communication and overall business efficiency</li>
<li>Monitoring and troubleshooting integrated systems and identifying opportunities to improve production performance</li>
<li>Developing and maintaining data analytics tools for process optimisation, predictive maintenance, and real-time monitoring</li>
<li>Ensuring all digital and automation projects adhere to safety, quality, (cyber) security and compliance standards</li>
</ul>
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
<ul>
<li>Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or time served in a similar role (HNC/Degree)</li>
<li>The ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues and develop solutions</li>
<li>End to End experience in introducing new technologies / tools into a business from concept through to implementation</li>
</ul>
Desirable:
<ul>
<li>Experience gained within a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous</li>
<li>Familiarity with 2D and 3D CAD packages</li>
<li>Hands on experience with tools such as Python, JavaScript, VBA etc</li>
</ul>

Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Supply Chain)
Location: Rochester
Salary: £45,000-55,000 dependent on skills and experience
 
What you’ll be doing:
<ul>
<li>Provide subject matter expertise into the Operations function in at least one technical area (e.g. Preference: Mechanical Build to Print, Special Processes, PCB assembly, Electro-Mechanical Assembly etc)</li>
<li>Lead investigations into non-conforming material originating from the supply chain</li>
<li>Identifying areas for improvements with internal and external processes, creating the business case for change</li>
<li>Developing, maintaining and enhancing manufacturing processes</li>
<li>Supporting the assessment of supplier capability for new sources</li>
